Although many people are aware of the negative health effects of smoking cigarettes, not as many are attuned to the environmental impacts — and there are some big ones. The 4.5 trillion cigarettes that pollute our water and leak toxins into the environment, can take a decade to decompose. Not to mention ingesting them can kill a small animal. But guess who is aware of all this and does nothing to clean up their mess? Big Tobacco.

Part of the out-of-home buy was this billboard panel filled with over 12,000 cigarette butts collected off of the surrounding streets.
A little sneak inside the production process — a wall being power washed, set up of the spiral for stop motion, and time lapse set-up for our big bad tobacco cigarette guy.
